Dr Duwayri and the assistant could not have been more attentive to me or the plans for what should take place in the future. Both were very impressive. I'm glad now that Emory has become my choice for this stent.

Doctor gave plenty of time to ask questions and give us the answers we needed to hear.

Dr. Duwayri was very friendly and approachable. He came in with a smile and was very personable. Having done some research on his background, I knew he was very knowledgeable in my son's potential condition. I felt he was very responsive to my concerns after seeing his condition happen in front of him. He did not want to send us away without answers, so he set a time with another doctor to do some further exams.

Great doctor and staff

I left very confused and should have advocated for myself better. I have a dissection in my carotid artery that I was informed at hospital discharge back in September that if it hadn't healed by this appointment it needed to be surgically corrected. The tear has not healed and I was sent out the door with a follow up appointment in a year. I feel very misinformed due to the conflicting information and quite frankly I am scared to know I'm walking around with this.

I wish there was an Excellent option! After 10 days of confusion, Dr D confronted every concern and set me on a much clearer path.

Dr. Duwayri is the best!

He talked about options and next steps and just assumed moving forward on it. I wish he had reviewed the why, reviewed what he saw during the appointment and why that is impacting his decision, and asking me what I would like to do.

The care provider spoke to me in ways I understood. He listened and included me in the decision making.

Great bedside manners. They spoke clearly and they made sure we understood what the process would be. They very compassionate, understanding and answered all of the questions we had. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
