Dr. Blum is the model of what a Medical Doctor should be. A good listener, explains and backs up his reasoning, spends the time needed to bring your status current. I get out of a meeting thinking "wow, that man is Good". Truly an inspiration and asset to the medical profession.

Dr. William Blum, Director of Acute Leukemia Department, is without a doubt the finest physician I've ever been so fortunate as to have one care for me. Dr. Blum knows his speciality extremely well, and most importantly, he knows how to listen to his patients, then explain/communicate, versus the opposite. He involved me throughout the entire process, from start to finish, even managing to convince me to give my original oncologist/hematologist a second chance, so as to rebuild the broken trust between us, all with the complete understanding that he would also be monitoring and treating me. A truly wonderful experience in and for an extremely stressful health situation. Fantastic!

I was so impressed with Dr. Blum. He spent so much time with me and made me feel like I was the only patient he had. He was so caring and truly wanted to make sure I understood what he was saying. I was truly amazed!

Dr. Blum is amazing!!! He had me explain to him what I understood about my condition (as a former educator, this is truly best practice) to ensure I actually did understand. He drew a picture of what his future expectations of the drug effects on my cancer would be, looked at and discussed pictures on my phone of side effects I have started having and created a plan and truly spent time with me and didn't make me feel like he had any other patients waiting ion him. He is brilliant but his patient Interactions and bedside manner er are second to none!!!

Dr. Blum and the entire leukemia care team are amazing. The care I have received the last 6 years from the nurses on the leukemia and transplant floors to the people in the labs has been amazing. Emory saved my life.
