Dr. Grajales listened carefully to my medical history, asked questions, offered care and support, discussed items to reevaluate from other providers, detailed what she wanted to evaluate, and offered a range of solutions depending on outcome of future procedures. Extremely impressed with her manner, style, and the fact she reviewed and knew much of my history before I ever walked through the door.

The most frustrating for me was I'm from Atlanta and my whole life. Emory has been the hospital to go to for care. Still to this day which has been nine months plus later we still do not know what has caused the issue. Finally, my oncologist has made the decision to remove the bad tissue, which will then be biopsied and try to determine what the cause was. Just wish this had taken place sooner.

The communication is bad.. And lack of empathy when trying to tell them how you're feeling instead of listening to the pt. It's based upon what was taught in school instead of listening to the pt. Learn to listen to your pt. And sympathize a little more when the pt is telling you how they feel and stop going off of what you were taught. When you have a human on front of you telling you
