About the Provider
Dr. Patel's clinical interests include advanced pain therapies such as spinal cord stimulators, peripheral stimulators, vertebral augmentation for compression fractures, and treatment of complex conditions such as craniofacial neuralgias, spinal pain and neuropathic conditions. Dr. Patel also takes an active role in research with interests in spinal degenerative conditions, neuromodulation for various pain conditions, novel spinal pain therapies, and multimodal treatments in the preoperative setting. Dr. Patel takes an active role in educating residents and fellows in the field of interventional pain with innovative teaching techniques using cadaver models and has been recognized among his peers as an outstanding educator on Teacher Appreciation Day by the Emory School of Medicine.
