Early in life, Dr. Hailstorks knew she wanted to be a doctor. But it was not until medical school that she realized obstetrics and gynecology were her calling. She joined the Emory team after completing a fellowship in complex family planning at Emory University School of Medicine, while at the same time earning a master’s degree in public health here at Emory.
As a complex family planning specialist, Dr. Hailstorks provides contraception and abortion care. She strives to make it as easy as possible for all women to access her services and works to ensure her patients are comfortable enough to ask any question they might have and advocate for themselves. She is committed to offering a nonjudgemental environment where she provides the information and support women need to make the decisions that are right for them.

Doctor was very nice and personable, Kept me well informed of what was going on, Maintained communication with me throughout the procedure, ensured I was comfortable, Answered questions clearly & thoroughly, and did incredible work removing my Nexplanon implant (which we thought was going to need to go to imaging to retrieve), saving me time, discomfort, & stress!

I did not get the help I needed for my disorder and I don't understand what blood test she put an order in for. How is my hemoglobin related to my concern of diabetes? No information given.

Dr. Hailstorks is by far the best OG/gyn physician I've ever had. She is very knowledgeable is every aspect of the visit (scheduling, patient care, explains statistics, and insurance). She is great!

Dr. Hailstorks has amazing beside manner. She was welcoming, informative and comforting. This was my first time seeing this physician and I will request her every time. I left with confidence in my situation and felt heard by the doctor.
