PA explanation of procedure was very good. Would like to see a more holistic approach to my care as it relates to other abnormalities that may be observed during work up and evaluation of the primary reason for my visit. Tunnel vision is never a good thing. The patient should be made aware and given directions even if the issue is not something you can fix.

Nurses are great. My experience with Doctors is excellent too although I don't see them as much.

Dr. Yamashita and his colleagues were very thorough to make sure that I had complete knowledge about the entire process

Very knowledgeable, went above and beyond in explaining the issue I was having, going over my results, explaining the surgical process along with possible risks, etc. They did not make me feel rushed at all. I felt very comfortable with both of them, and they were each extremely thorough in providing me with information and in their care and time of answering my questions.

The doctor soothed my concerns about what looked like a cyst only was not cancer. This was reassuring. He ordered imaging to better formulate a plan for surgery or not. I left the clinic much relieved about anything going forward. Dr. Yamashita was warm, friendly, and efficient. He is a credit to Emory, the surgery department and campus I am sure. I felt lucky to have him look at my case.

Dr. Yamashita's approach to patient care is exceptional. During my office visit, Dr. Yamashita was very clear and concise with the information that he provided in regards to my medical condition. I had a list of questions to ask him. He was so thorough in the information that he provided, he answered all of my questions without me having to ask him.
