My wait was about 2 hours. My entire round trip was about 4 hours. Dr. Berk spent a few minutes, looked at bilhis computer and told me that I was stable. Notes in computer on patient side were sketchy. Two days later, Dr. Yan referenced Dr. Berk's diagnosis as severe Glaucoma In left eye and mild In right. That suggests that my condition Is deteriorating. I use eye drops religiously yet things are getting worse. Im feeling like a subject in an experiment of watch and see. It appears that something needs to change. I have 4 colle degrees, including a PhD. I understand English quite well. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked closely with physicians and medical residents. I can understand a lot yet am being treated like a dummy. Emory is over rated.

After an extremely long wait to see the doctor, we were in the exam room less than five minutes.

Dr. Frisbee was also professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Frisbee was covering for Dr. Berk until is was able to see me . Dr. Frisbee was absolutely awesome. Was polite and professional. Dr Burk by intervened with some confusion with the fellow who intended to do the laser treatment. Dr Burk did the surgery himself and apologized for my wait time.

I like Dr. Berk, though I sometimes wish he would be more specific in his feedback. I get the sense that he's worried about scaring me, but I can worry about that -- he should worry about my eyes. :)

I feel like he could have listen to my complaints to understand the changes in my vision I was experiencing. It was not an open dialog more like only his opinion matter. I spent more time in the waiting room then with the physician

Dr. Burke did not give me any feedback on why I'm experiencing vision loss. He recommended me to follow up with neuro-ophthamologist and then make another follow up appt with him 4 months later. This is the only feedback I received.
