I liked Dr. Tan very much. Took time to explain a concern I had with my health chart. Suggested a portable EKG for a week to check a racing heart. Quickly prescribed a temp medication at a local pharmacy while my other is being mail delivered.

I appreciate that Dr. Van truly listens to my concerns and collaborates with me on my care plan. He is very efficient, but I never feel rushed. I'm so happy to have found Dr. Van.

My experience with the providers was very good, I was surprised that they took so long, generally in other medical experiences I have had, they minimize the time and you cannot express what you have or want because of the short time they allow you in the consultation.

Dr. Van was EXCELLENT! He listened to my concerns, did a thorough exam, and clearly explained what was causing my pain. He explained the next steps and told me to contact him if certain issues occurred that would require a different course of treatment. He provided a referral to a physical therapist and suggested a follow up full physical.

Dr Van is downright Awesome. So glad I chose him to be my provider after Dr Huber retook. I thought about getting care closer to home , but I will be staying right there at the Emory Sugarloaf location because I am so satisfied with Dr Van's care. He is extremely thorough and listens to what the patient has to say. He doesn't hesitate to get to the bottom of an issue even if it means a referral out to a specialist. He engages me in decision making and he all tells me to come back if certain symptoms begin to appear. So thankful for him!

Dr. Van impressed me as being an extremely knowledgeable and caring professional. During my professional career. He is a real asset to family practice at Emory. As an institution, Emory is known globally for specialty care - Van has all the capabilities of enhancing your statue in primary care. (I am not your usual client - twelve years of experience coordinating education at a community based medical school and twenty-five years at CDC).

Dr. Tam was wonderful! He is an excellent replacement for Dr. Huber, who retired.
