Dr Zahid is an excellent endocrinologist. I'm a retired internal medicine physician so I can judge her quality of interaction and care. She is an excellent physician.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Zahid. During my appointment, she failed to meaningfully address my actual medical concerns despite me clearly explaining that I was constantly cold and experiencing ongoing hair loss. My blood work was not properly reviewed or discussed, and my symptoms were largely dismissed.Instead, the focus of the visit was redirected to an inaccurate narrative about my weight. I mentioned that I did not want to return to a prior weight of 160 pounds after having already lost 30 pounds-which is a reasonable health concern. At no point did I say I felt "fat" or that weight loss was the primary reason for my visit. However, this comment was incorrectly framed as the premise of the entire appointment, making it seem as though I was only seeking a GLP-1 medication for cosmetic weight loss, which is completely untrue.My concerns regarding PCOS management and elevated cholesterol were not adequately addressed, and the dietary guidance provided was extremely basic-equivalent to a generic "eat healthy" plan. This was particularly frustrating given that I clearly stated I have been following anti-inflammatory, structured nutrition with defined macros since 2024, when I was first diagnosed. There was no attempt to tailor recommendations to my actual history, lab trends, or knowledge level.After this appointment, I sought care from another endocrinologist in Georgia who identified that I am significantly low in iron and anemic-a finding that directly explains my symptoms of hair loss and feeling cold. Had I not pursued a second opinion, these issues could have continued unaddressed for an extended period of time.This experience felt dismissive and reductive, and I left feeling unheard and mischaracterized rather than medically supported. I would not recommend this provider to patients seeking thorough, attentive, or individualized endocrine care-especially those with complex conditions like PCOS.

I would recommend Dr Kahid. She discussed and answered my questions. She made me feel comfortable. She was knowledgeable, efficient and showed concerned. She spent the appropriate time with me. She put me at ease with letting me know the symptoms of my condition and prognosis.

The doctor seemed to be rushing through the appointment. She made several statements that had already been proven by previous test. She told me that glucose monitors are inaccurate and that serum was the way to go. The first glucose test I had was a 19 and was done by serum as well as the second test which was 54. The doctor came off as if she knew everything and I didn't know anything, even though I have been dealing with low blood sugar for over a year.

Dr zahid is not smart. Both times I saw her, I had to pull up results in the my chart app because she couldn't find them in the system. (They were done at the Emory lab.) her only recommendation was to repeat bloodwork that I just did two weeks ago. Last time, she confused my blood pressure medication with cough syrup. This time she told me to supplement a vitamin even though my current level is good.

Doctor remembered my history and was very supportive while educating me

My Doctor interacted with me throughout the procedure and advised me on each step she was taking, making sure I felt part of her treatment. That also made me feel less pain as I knew each cut or stab was coming and at the end she praised me for my trust and response to her guidance and treatment.I felt I was In good hands.

The physician has repeatedly confused adult beginner ballet classes for pointe classes and tried to dissuade me from taking them. The physician also repeatedly suggested reviewing websites for information on how to exercise for my condition but could not give me specific exercises or resources. I had to advocate repeatedly to get a referral to someone who can show me how to do the exercises in question, but I got the impressions this suggestion was offered because the physician could not help me.

Doctor was dismissive of previous lab results and offered no new insights as to what could be causing the fatigue I have suffered from for over three decades. Refused my request for a genetic test saying "i can tell you don't have that just from looking at you". Also told me to "calm down" at least 4 times, despite my chart stating that I suffer from anxiety.

She listens, and she truly hears my concerns.

I am most pleased with Dr. Zahid. She is thorough, patient and let's me lead in my care. She weighs the pluses and minuses of suggestions and questions that I have and we come to a mutual decision together. Dr. Zahid is exactly what I love I'm my doctor's. She was very persistent about getting my insurance to approve a medication that they had refused to cover. I had literally given up on it but I tried one more time at her insistence and the medication was covered this time. I could not have asked for a better doctor than Dr. Zahid. Also she has great bedside manners.

I didn't really get an explanation of what could possibly be causing my issues. The provider said that it could be genetic and that my blood test results were normal. The provider basically threw everything in my ob/gyn lap but I was referred to the provider by my primary care doctor for multiple reasons. Even if my issue is genetic I still do not know specifically what could genetically be causing the issue ( deficiency, genetic mutations). The focus of the appointment was only on one thing but I have mentioned multiple issues and still have no answer of a possibility besides genetics.

Dr. Zahid needs to share more detailed information about her orders and special instructions. I think one of her orders should be given after taking at-home measures.

Had to ask a few clarifying questions but she was great.

It can be challenging when you go to the doctor and bad news is all you hear. However, Dr. Zahid and I had a plan. I stuck to my side of the deal and I think she was more excited for me than I was of myself. Her energy and "you can do this" attitude gives me the excitement I need to stay on task.

I had concerns and she immediately ordered testing to ensure I was okay and all of my worries were taken care of. Truly appreciate this doc!
