Dr. Shamsie was great and took time to tall through my issues and questions and provided necessary diligence in reviewing lab reports, etc.

Dr Shamsi gave me his total attention. I did not feel he was at all rushed. Once again, he was very knowledgeable and I trusted completely his recommendations regarding future treatment

Dr Shamsi informed us that BP was high and he recommended watching it for few days before starting on new medication. That was really nice of him. Rather than switching medications, he wanted to see the BP pattern over few weeks before changing medications.

The doctors worked to do a thorough evaluation of my heart health. Only concern was he didn't recall he already reviewed my stress test from Wellstar which was concerning. But he is very personable and seems to really care which is good.

Dr. Shamsi listened well and answered my questions clearly.

I felt dismissed, ignored, and patronized by this provider. Despite the validity of my concerns based on my family history, I was fearmongered into believing that I was not doing enough AND that my concerns meant nothing. What I intended to address, my CAC, was not acheived. Ultimately, I left feeling defeated despite the areas of improvement in my health; and my own knowledge seen as inferior despite this being MY body.

Dr Shamsi listened to all our concerns for our father. He spent a lot of time going over our father's history and they took time to answer our questions. He was very professional and understandable of our father's situation.he gave us procedures to follow and suggested a follow up in coming months. Our father really liked dr shamsi.

As I said before, doctor doesn't have responsibility for poor appointment because he didn't have information about tests and I don't know if he has concerns about myself.

This provider was extremely rude and arrogant. Upon entering the room I could tell that he was irritated. He was not friendly and made me feel like he did not care. Zero empathy and he was very sarcastic with his communication as if I did not know my body. He did not listen to me at all. I would never return to this doctor or refer someone to him. Emory needs to send their doctors to training for compassion and empathy for their patients. I went to a heart doctor that does not have a big heart for his patients. I left that office like a piece of dirt on the ground. I never experienced such uncaring behavior from a physician.

Was my first visit after having to leave a doctor that I liked very much, but left because of insurance. I was impressed with Dr Shamsi and feel happy about choosing this practice as the result of my visit.
