In lieu of providing a proposed path, she referred to another doctor. When questioned on labs and medical opinion, she got flustered and even stated we weren't getting anywhere regarding a diagnosis. As a disabled veteran, I won't be back and will apprised the VA as to why.

- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/10/2025
Dr. John was very nice and had great bedside manner. She had clearly reviewed my chart and was doing her best to explain the condition to me. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. The issue is that fibro is supposed to be a Rheumatology condition, and Dr. John (as well as literally every other rheumatologist I have seen) just ends up referring me to pain management. I've seen two pain management doctors, and they've both told me that they are not experts on this condition. How am I supposed to get comprehensive care if there are no doctors prepared to be an active partner with me on my care? How can there not be anyone who specializes in Fibromyalgia? I also think the fact that Emory Pain Center refuses to prescribe narcotics AT ALL is a major miss in terms of actually serving the community. I understand wanting to avoid liability, but there are certain pain conditions that require long-term pain management and cannot be served by physical therapy. I know - I've been to three different physical therapists already. It just seems like no one - including the biggest research medical system in Atlanta - is actually prepared to deal with a condition that apparently effects 2-4% of the population.

I was upset with the provider because 6 months before she told about my lupus and when I was being seen it was like she was a different person and telling I don't have lupus when clearly am in pain. This is 6 th doctor and I don't understand why is always like that . I understand doctors have a lot of patients and I know they look into the person records before entering,I don't understand. Was very upset with the visit
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 4/4/2025
She could care less with what's going on with me. She constantly passes the buck to another doctor when I'm asking questions about what's going on in my body. She had a fellow examine and she wasn't in the room. I'm telling her about issues with my fingers and she didn't hear one word I said. Responded back to me with with what I didn't say. She was giving an automatic answer and when I corrected her , she said I don't know and walked out the room. She was in the room 2 minutes top.

Basically told me I didn't have a rheumatology issue and I should go back to TN to see my dr at home. Wanted to follow up in 6 months to see how I'm doing. Why should I drive 5 hours one way just to say hello.
