I cannot imagine a better physician than Dr. Susan Modesitt. She should be cloned so that the whole world could benefit from her competence and compassion.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Modesitt. I was in unbearable pain and pretty terrified of surgery but she came in and took time to explain everything and put me more at ease. She was warm and personable and made me feel cared about at a time when I really needed it. The surgery went well and had good biopsy results. The follow-up visit was great, she answered all my questions and again made me feel like she truly cared. I am grateful to her beyond words.

Dr Modesitt acknowledged there comparing a previous PET-CT from outside Emory to the most recent surveillance CT completed at Emory did not provide a true comparison to determine efficacy of current Treatment. She offered encouraging evidence from the radiology reports that there is reason to believe treatment is working as there is no progression showing. She Recommends continuing for another 3 rounds and repeating surveillance scan.
