In the beginning of the visit, the doctor asked me what I wanted to do when it came for my treatment! Very effective in including me from the start of the conversation.

The doctor thought I was further along in my post op than I was. I reminded her that my surgery was in 2022 and that I still had 2 more years of post op check ups

Dr. Ayub spent over an hour discussing my cancer, her surgical plan, recurrence risks, risks to my healthy breast, treatment plans, and expectations for surgery and follow up care.

This Dr. Was new to me. She was replaced by the Dr. And Previous Assistant I knew. This Dr. Was friendly. She examined me. I addressed a problem with edema I am having. She said I had scaring in my underarm. Asked if I was on a diruretic. Lasix is what I've been on, but it is really hard on my system. Terrible Incontinence and bad backaches. I had also previously been on hydrochlorithize ( spelling?). She had no other suggestions and told me I can come back in June 2026. If I have problems let them know.

I was not given a clear understanding of what to do in the future: how long to wear my mastectomy bra. The nurse stated I still needed a compression garment. But did not tell me how long to wear it.

Felt rushed, dismissive and information was delivered but not discussed. No potential options discussed . Almost as if it wasn't her problem if I didn't like the answers

Dr AYUB was very through, did a full exam and then discussed every part of the process with me relating to the biopsy and how I would obtain results. She also was reassuring.

Dr. Ayub was so very kind and answered all of my concerns and questions simply by being thorough and taking the time to show me things on my images and making a diagram to further explain the procedure and possible treatment for plan depending on the findings. It's a really stressful appointment to go to and she put me at ease immediately with her demeanor.
