Very good and professional visit.

Was able to see me and my husband for back to back visits at the same time, which is helpful since he has moderate Alzheimer's and can't be left alone.

The care provider held a very clear explanation to upgrade my medication and carried me along.

Dr. Cheekati listens carefully, is kind, relatable, engaging, and very focused on doing the very best for me. She's an excellent primary care physician, referring me to specialists when needed. I value her immensely and would happily recommend her to others.

Dr Cheekati was very helpful in signing the annual disability forms I needed, and was kind to include my annual wellness vs making me return on later date. Unfortunately, Dr Cheekati was unable to help my primary concern which is unbearable pain from terminal leukemia and short bowel syndrome. Dr Cheekati has always shown concern and tried to get me the help I need but this time it seems she is was unable to give me any direction to get help sooner than the intrathecal pump is scheduled for. I don't blame Dr. Cheekati, but just wish she had some direction for me on my pain mgmt. I think she saw I'm getting an intrathecal pump and felt there is nothing more she can do. I honestly don't feel I'll be alive to make it to the March 2027 annual wellness visit scheduled for me when I checked out. I want to thank Dr Cheekati for all the help she was these past several years as I've fought a long terminal illness that has me incapacitated with pain.

This was a first visit consultation. All was very good.

I had a gastronomy emergency and when the doctor examined me in the emergency and I had to do tests he discovered that I had diverticulitis and when I checked my elame it is previous, I was told that this disease had been diagnosed before and they had not discussed it with me, even though I always use an interpreter in my appointments, because I don't speak English well. It was never recommended to me to see a nephrologist.

Dr. More concerned with record keeping, jumped to conclusions on blood results, never contacted patient direct on results or abnormalities . Dr Cheekati is very professional while still being friendly and a caring doctor. She always suggests what vaccinations we should have and explains which ones we do not need. She is thorough and efficient without being cold or indifferent. She goes above and beyond in being sure we know what we need to do to maintain our health. Because I am hearing impaired, she is patient with me when I have to ask for repetition of information and lowers her mask so I can hear her more easily. I trust her to make good decisions for our care.

I am new to the Georgia health care system having lived my entire life in California. Dr. Cheetaki is an excellent primary care provider. She is very thorough and asks important questions about all aspects of one's health care. She refers the patient to appropriate specialists and follows up on their care. I am 67 years old and have never had a doctor that shows as much care as Dr. Cheetaki does.

She is quick to think a patient has an attitude or ominous tone of voice and will tell you that she will refuse to see you because you, as a patient, are trying to voice/advocate for yourself. She never wanted to hear my concerns fully or understand what I was trying to explain. She did not take into consideration the current diagnosis from a specialist when it came to certain lab results that were not normal.

Dr Cheekati always seems rushed. She spends what time is necessary, but seems distracted sometimes. Our scheduled appointments seem to be later as we approach noon or late afternoon. I do not hold this against her, but I do notice.

Dr. Cheekati has literally saved my life twice. She discovered my A-fib and my prostate cancer (despite the fact that my PSA numbers never indicated that there was a problem). She is an exceptional clinician.

Dr. Sudha Cheekati is very compassionate and caring. She spent nearly 75 minutes with me. This is probably the longest time any PCP has spent with me in my memory. She showed concern, explained the issue and made constructive suggestions including referrals. I am thoroughly impressed with her.

Very rushed. It took a total of 12 minutes for my physical with asking questions. The doctor said and I quote she would not fill out any paperwork. The specialist went to medical school like she did and he could fill it out. Very unprofessional and frustrating! I will not be returning to the Avalon office.

Again, I don't like being forced to go to a doctor just to have my prescriptions when I go every single year for my physical and see all my specialists regularly. So she makes me go when there is nothing wrong with me when it could be a telehealth visit that wouldn't require me to miss work.

Dr Cheekati is the best caring doctor She is smart,kind I am sooooo lucky to have her as my doctor if it wasn't for her by now I had a heartache because less than 1 year my clostrol, triglyceride, A1cGot to normal .

Dr. Cheekati is always thorough and professional- she appears to have reviewed my chart before she examines me and orders appropriate evaluative tests or changes to my medications based on the results of those tests. She always advises me as to actions I need to take such as getting preventative shots or scheduling follow up doctor appointments. Throughout the time I spend during my check ups, I find Dr. Cheekati to care about me as a person and not just as part of her job. She addresses my hearing impairment by making sure I can hear and understand her.
