I really like Dr. Cantu. I feel like she takes my concerns seriously and has a care plan that makes sense. I don't feel rushed when talking to her, and I also feel respected.

Dr. Cantu was so kind, patient and a wonderful listener. She didn't make me feel like I needed to rush through the questions or my concerns. She made me feel relaxed (which is rare for doc appts) and that I wasn't wrong for asking questions regarding my health. Dr. Cantu is incredible. She is thorough, thoughtful, knowledgeable and willing to discuss all issues and options. She saved my life by thoroughly investigating a tight chest and a tired feeling. She discovered a huge PE and acted with incredible urgency, special care and personal touch.

Great experience

I moved from LA, where I had an extremely good cardiologist and felt very fortunate. Dr. Cant is just as good. I am fortunate to have her as my doctor and Emory is fortunate to have her on its team. As I said in a previous comment, I am an MD myself, double-boarded in Int Medicine and Psychiatry. I rarely mention this but I do so to provide credence to my evaluation of Dr. Cant.

The care provider is on target about health problems.

She was listening all my concerns and gave me good advice. I feel very good .

Dr. Cantu saved my life. She went down a rabbit hole with me and discovered a pulmonary embolism due to COVID. She has listened to EVERY SINGLE CONCERN, and she has mitigated every thing. She talked through everything with me and helped me understand the short, medium and long term plans. Dr. Cantu is not only intelligent, confident, professional, highly adept, she is also kind, warm, human, real, compassionate and empathetic. I feel empowered again and I cannot thank Dr. Cantu and her amazing team enough!!

Great bedside manner

She discussed with me at length about potential treatment modalities. She referred me to specialist who could further explore my options. She reviewed my medications and its effectiveness.

The Doctor was very informative and asked good questions about my Mother's past health concerns. She sought an alternative to my Moms medications which would be in her best interest for a lowered heart rate.

I was not given any instructions about the upcoming test! Scan of my heart. Other than that I was very pleased with Dr Cantu
