Sonum Patel, MD

Sonum Patel, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care. She earned her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at AdventHealth Winter Park. Dr. Patel values continuity and believes that strong, trusting relationships are the foundation for long-term wellness. Her interests include preventive care, lifestyle medicine, women’s health, management of acute and chronic conditions, and simple skin procedures.
She focuses on practical guidance and education, helping patients make health choices that fit their everyday lives. Dr. Patel encourages progress over perfection and strives to empower patients in their wellness journeys. Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, tending to her plants, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
