Dr. Owusu-Darko is knowledgeable, personable, and caring. Dr. Owusu-Darko took her time explaining things to me. She was recommended to me by a colleague. I am so happy that she is my OBGYN.

I had been with my previous GYN for over 20Years and was apprehensive about changing. Dr Owusu-Darko was fantastic! Not only was she knowledgeable, she was very down to earth, personable and easy to talk to. She explained everything and proposed new solutions.

It is very refreshing to have an OBGYN that looks like me at ESJH. Traveling to other Emory locations is not as convenient as ESJH. Dr. Darko was kind, thoughtful and listened intently to all of my concerns.

I was 37 weeks pregnant and experienced slight leakage over the weekend. Talking to the on call nurses over the weekend, they thought it was okay to wait since it may have been vaginal discharge. When Dr. Owusu heard what happened, she immediately told me to go get checked just to be sure and it turns out I did leak and ended up going into labor and giving birth the next day

I have recc9mmended Dr. Owusu-Darko to colleagues. I know one sees her. We both concur Dr Owusu-Darko is an excellent MD because of her knowledge, compassion, and skilled use of speculum; Paps don't hurt, which eases my dread of them.

So happy to have met Dr Owusu-Darko and have address my concerns.

Being I went in with no clear plan for my needs she was kind and patient with me. I already have a specialist GYN and am under care for breast cancer. She will be my support for my GYN needs post hormone replacement and the changes my body may see. She was very helpful and gentle with me. She explained I can see her but my care for me is currently with my surgical oncologist(breast cancer). We both know she will be part of my supporting team while I figure out the lack of hormones and the changes I face. Very kind. And even if this transition is easy for my body and me I have a Dr who will be helpful with my GYN needs.

Dr Owosu is so good. Listened, asked great questions and I could tell she was very genuine in her care for me!

Dr. O-Darko and her team are top notch. She listens, answers questions and addresses concerns with compassion, clarity, knowledge, experience, and care, and never seems rushed.

That visit was very uncomfortable. The doctor seemed angry the minute she came in, and this is someone I've seen 2 or 3 times before with no issues. Her overall demeanor was unfriendly. Not sure what caused that, I know we all have challenges but it was uncalled for. She did answer some of the questions I had, I appreciated it, and I'll be following up with another gynecologist.
