It was easy to talk to PA Baccas. It was clear that she was listening to me and that she was concerned about my care. She answered all my questions and gave me a clear explanation of my treatment plan.

Answered any questions I had, she didn't say much about what she saw or was concerned about, but I believe that was bc she was waiting for a new MRI so she could be certain. Which if that is in fact the case, I appreciate her and this team even more.

PA did not show me the MRIs. When she entered the room she was telling me the same thing about my neck as first visit. I made both appts for my lower back

Dr Sakeena was awesome. She acted as if she really cared about me. I felt that way. I'm used to being pushed around and sent away at the VA. As a matter of fact the VA sent me to her for neck and spine. The VA messed up! I was supposed to be there for ortho. She corrected that mistake as best she could and got me seen by Dr M who gave me some pain meds that I so desperately needed! God bless them.

I saw a PA. She was very nice and provided info to the best of her ability, I'm sure; however, she is not a doctor. She is not the physician that has performed 3 surgeries on me, so she knew nothing about me!

The provider informed me of my treatment rather than including me on decisions. As I left, I immediately took steps to comply with her requests by scheduling the requested MRI, Ortho consult, and follow-up appointment with her. A few hours later I got a portal message from her nurse stating she wanted to order physical therapy, which we had never discussed in my appointment. That was fine with me, so I immediately set up a physical therapy intake. I replied asking about the meds we discussed since they'd not been sent to my pharmacy. No reply. A few hours after that (almost 8 hours after my appointment, at 3:45 on a Friday), the nurse called and said the provider was not going to prescribe the nerve medication we had discussed at length and why. I explained that her reasons didn't make sense based on my conversation with the provider. The nurse said the provider left for the week while the nurse and I were on the phone, leaving me with no nerve medication and no options going into a long weekend.

PA Baccas was very clear and informative as to my treatment options. I asked for another 6 weeks to allow for further healing and to re-assess after that time. She was completely on board with my decision.

Best experience I have had in a long while. The doctor listened carefully to my concerns and performed a thorough examination. It was very nice to have a doctor engage with me rather than spend the time entering data into a computer.

When giving options to proceed forward, surgery being the first option through me off of listening to other options.
