He has an attitude that I wasn't fond of. The last day I was there my legs were hurting he said I'm a Surgeon and I don't know anything about legs. It was just his attitude. I didn't like.

Spent a great amount of time discussing my options, discussing the procedures and answering my questions. Exceeded expectations.

The doctor was professional, friendly and very helpful. However: while pertinent questions were asked, I was examined physically and treatment options were discussed, the possible cause of the problem was not explained. This left me slightly worried - I experience symptoms and don't understand what might be causing them.

Dr Davis has been a life saver for me my situation was grave and he and his time took a 40 year old procedure that was causing my body to become closer to death he went in and reworked my digestive system. I am healthy no issues that had caused my body to be in a state of severe malnutritionyes I have gained weight and he is aware of my concerns but at the same time offered solutions. I am very grateful to him and I know that his actions saved my life and I will conquer this weight gain so I can fully benefit from his caring of me.

However the final decision was not made completely clear to me as to why he would operate to help my problem. He did help in contacting another doctor for me for another approach to my need. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sarmiento and Ms. Catherine Blair. They are the ivory tower examples of what health care delivery should be. Ms. Blair was exceedingly considerate of my time, well versed in her field, and prompt in communicating with me. She saw to it that my blood work and imaging studies were ordered immediately and that I had the medication necessary for one of the tests. She was simply on the ball with everything so that when I presented to Emory, my care was delivered smoothly and without problems. Dr. Sarmiento made himself available for questioning and spent time speaking with my husband and me. He was reassuring and friendly,and I very much appreciate his fitting me into his schedule as quickly as he did. He and Ms. Blair were both so kind and generous with their time and expertise. I will always be grateful to them for making a difficult time less so.
