I had a very good appointment. Dr. Ruth Sacks completed her exam and talked with me about the " Survivorship Program for Cancer Patients" with long term years of survival. I will be in this program in August. It was scheduled for me and is timed with my yearly Mammogram Screening. I will meet the Clinical Supervisor and have my 1st meeting.

Dr. Sacks wow. Since meeting her in 2023 she has been amazing. She listens to me. She doesn't belittle me. She takes my feelings seriously especially after a horrible experience I went through in 2023 by a surgeon and plastic surgeon dealing my breast cancer.Dr. Sacks and her team make me feel at ease. I am NOT as anxious when coming into appointments. Dr. Sacks spends time making sure that I am clear on everything regarding my health, recovery and treatments. She is thorough when explaining details of results, i.e. Showing visuals for me to have a better understanding. Dr. Sacks to me is a wonderful doctor whom I am very grateful to have on my side while going through these difficult times with DCIS/other.

Dr. SAcks has been my rock since I've been diagnosed with breast cancer. I feel that she and her team have listened to me far more about my concerns and any questions that I had without making me feel like I was a total airhead when it came to the situation with my diagnosis. So I don't mind the fact that I have to wait a little bit longer to be seen by her when sitting in the office because I know she's doing a thorough job and she's actually listening and addressing concerns her patience have. And NOT Just passing us off as numbers or cattle being sent off to the slaughter house like the surgical team does.
