Honestly, I traveled as early as 6 AM to be on time for the appointment to Beat rush-hour traffic and still feel as though it almost made me feel as though it was somewhat a waste of my time as I didn't feel heard. I will say that my specific questions about IV infusion, particularly was addressed, but the pain references that I made to the pain management provider were not particularly addressed, and I specifically made the appointment because this provider specialized the pain management and the study of neuroplastic city which in all honesty wasn't applied to my case .

The purpose of this visit was, in some sense, the result of having seen 4 Doctors to Address my back problems and associated pain previously. Before the appointment I had many questions, concerns and some conflicting information. By the end of the meeting, I had a much better understanding and clear and substantial information upon which to work. This was likely the longest doctors appointment's I ever had. This is also likely the most thorough doctors appointment I've ever had, I was so thankful and pleased to have the attentive care of Dr Qureshi and Dr. Li.

Dr. R. Li was extremely strange. He had not reviewed my MRI or orthopedic surgeons notes. Dr. R. Li kept laughing/giggling as if he was "high" from a substance. In his notes regarding my issues, he said that I have back issues and arthritis, which I never had or complained about any back issues and I was never diagnosed with arthritis. I kept telling him about my actual diagnosis from my orthopedic surgeon and PCP according to all of my MRIs, but he continued to disregard the information. The appointment was a horrible experience, which I have decided to schedule an appointment with a different pain management provider outside of Emory.

Dr. Fisher was cordial and informative during our initial encounter. Dr. Li was also very cordial and it was comforting in that he stowed concern for my condition and wanted to figure out the best option for me. He discussed the options with me and allowed me to participate in the decision. I appreciate that Dr. Li responded promptly to my messages on My Chart.
