We had difficulty because I was in a moving car. She did try to call. I don't know why but the call went to voicemail. I could she that I received the call, that was all. Therefore, I am not sure I received all of the information I should have.

Cancer isn't a disease one can handle easily, especially if you have a family. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma when my youngest child entered Junior High. My doctor was supportive and answered all my questions. I was also provided a PA who made the process so much easier. I have been in remission for about 14 years. Both Dr Kaufman and PA Roseann Pruitt have made this process much easier than I could ever have imagined

She takes the time to truly listen, did not rush through the appointment , and explained things in a way that's easy to understand. Her compassion and patience make a real difference, and I left feeling supported and confident in my care. Rosie was outstanding in, clarifying the questions, giving clear explanations of what was going on, and providing next steps as well as what to expect after that. PA Pruitt has been taking care of me since hand-off from Dr. Kaufman with whom I had initial visits and workup. PA Pruitt has been very helpful navigating the complexity of light chain MGUS. She explained new research and presented options for monitoring. I am confident in her knowledge and effort she puts in understanding my test results and explaining the nuances. I am confident in the decisions I make based on her explanations coupled with my followup research and reading.

Dr. Pruitt listened to my concerns and proceeded in a professional manner. I had a small issue with my primary care doctor. That doctor discovered something abnormal with my bones. Dr. Pruitt already had a graph charting my bone marrow.
