About the Provider
Rosa Pasculli, MD, is a non-operative sports medicine physician at Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center. Dr. Pasculli graduated from Barnard College, after which she completed medical school at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine and received a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business with a specialization in leadership and change management. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Emory University. During her fellowship year, she served as a team physician for Emory University and Dunwoody High School, and provided medical event coverage for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Atlanta Track Club, and Atlanta Ballet.
Her practice is guided by the wise words of Dr. George Sheehan that “every patient is an athlete… just in different stages of training.” She believes movement is fundamental to health and enjoys caring for athletes of all ages, sports, and skill levels. She has a particular clinical interest in working with dancers and runners, with specialized expertise in treating bone stress injuries and relative energy deficiency in sport (REDs). She serves as a consulting physician for the Atlanta Ballet, The Georgia Ballet, and the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, and she is a faculty member of the Emory Women's Sports Medicine Program. She is the head team physician for Emory University, and she is a team physician for the College Park Skyhawks and South Fulton area high schools.
Her additional clinical interests include diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound and the management of sport-related concussions. She integrates the principles of lifestyle medicine into her practice, partnering with patients to optimize nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management to support long-term health and performance.
She enjoys yoga and weightlifting, spending time with her husband and their two dogs, and exploring new restaurants in Atlanta.

This Office is singular in the way they treat the patient with care and concern and actually listen to you and what you want vs. Many other doctors I have been to.

The appointment was good, but I'm not sure what happens next. I received an order for PT. In the appointment, she mentioned possibly getting injections. I asked via the portal about next steps after having an X-ray, and she just gave me the diagnosis. So, I don't know what to do after a few weeks of PT and/or when I should be concerned and come back. I would appreciate having more information on what to expect.

Not sure but I would have thought that sharing an estimation for how long symptoms could persist and what limitations I would need to follow would have been brought up by the provider. I did have to ask for that info.
