I was seen first by an Emory Resident physician, Dr. Sammak, and then also by my Cardiologist Dr. LeLeiko. Both physicians inquired about my health status and how I was doing and offered to answer any questions I had. I feel both showed genuine caring about my welfare, were excellent listeners and diagnosticians. Dr. Sammak provided me an excellent educational overview of what a Watchman procedure involves, after I asked her about it. My brother recently had the Watchman procedure done. I have been in Dr. LeLeiko's care for over 2-years now and she has significantly Improved my heart health (e.g., cholesterol, AFib, etc.). Dr. LeLeiko also has great Insights into my total wellness and how other conditions I have may Interact with my cardiovascular functioning. I feel lucky to have her as my Cardiologist. She is an asset to Emory Healthcare.

On my post test follow up, she was patient In explaining The results and her suggestion moving forward and again I am very comfortable with our plan. Dr Lileiko is brilliant, present , kind , and caring . She is one of top five doctors I have been to in my 70 years taking in her brilliance together with her outstanding bedside' manner. Dr. LeLeiko is an excellent physician/Cardiologist. She is very thorough, an excellent diagnostician, and conveys information about my health status, medical procedures and outcomes in a way that is understandable to me. Although she is obviously concerned about my heart health she is also aware of and concerned my other health conditions such as prediabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and sleep apnea. I greatly appreciate her holistic and comprehensive approach to my cardiac issues specifically, as well as, my overall health care including other conditions that may interact with or be co-morbid with my cardiorespiratory functioning.

This was my first appt with Dr. Leleiko. She was thorough and took her time with me.

I nearly canceled my appt because it seemed unnecessary due to the original nature of why I was referred to 6 months ago, but family encouraged me to keep it because of family history. Dr Leleiko was wonderful and asked questions I'd not considered, unrelated to my original visit. I did not feel like it was a waste or her or my time. She seems very thorough and truly listens which is quite refreshing.

Thorough and sought and explained possible solutions

I received glad tidings of my blood work numbers tha had been ordered from my Emory nephew that morning abd available to see most lab results, but not all. So she happily shared that I was not in need in a cardiac POC. She assured ne that I'd receive her ASV and card for any future need, so I was cleared from future care during this firestorm encounter/medical vidt, unless medically necessary. She informed that her practicing physician care would be given to me, along with the ASV. She aas quick to duscern, informm, discerning, yet .aming sure to provide medical information and her decision with a light flair to keep our consultation up beat.

The doctor discussed my medical condition, answered all of my questions and made recommendations for treatment.
