Dr. Sood is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. It is a shame that I was never able to see her due to time constraints. I waited over an hour after the technician saw me, and nobody informed me of how much longer I would need to wait. I had to leave to go to another medical appointment.

Follow-up to my cateract removal surgery in 2025 which I am still amazed at the wonderful procedure performed by Dr. Sood. I have gone from being a near sighted person to now one who can see very far without corrective lenses of any type. She has really performed something miraculous. Thank you.

Dr. Sood is extremely thorough.

The care provider was very rude and impatient. She was short and snippy which especially upset my daughter who was with me at this visit. She did not feel it appropriate for her to be so rude especially since she considers me an "older gentleman" and she pointed out to the doctor that I had memory loss issues (i.e easily confused), but the doctor seemed to ignore this information. My daughter also did not appreciate that the doctor simply googled my symptoms which is what we did before we called for an appointment. That said, she did diagnose me with extreme eye inflammation and prescribe eye drops which I hope will help. Maybe she just had a bad day, but my daughter was quite upset by my treatment. I assured her that everyone at Emory is usually especially polite, professional, and kind.

Vision test for right eye was good for short distance but not for long distance I was under standing that no need for urgent glasses as it's less little bit than left eyeI took provider's advice in fixing new classes Yes I am using tears for about 4times a day and may be I should used more than that

Dr Sood came into the room, spoke and immediately apologized for the delay and two hour wait. Explained her schedule which I didn't have a problem with because I have to secure transportation, the medication she's prescribing, the eye drops to purchase and the surgical treatment and presurgery appointment to be made by surgical scheduler.

I didn't find Dr Sood very helpful.

My concern was about the only pair of eyes I have; I still have blurry vision and from time to time a headache above my left eye. Which I feel came about during the Biolab chemical (gas & bleach) in Conyers Ga. Having to drive that way each day as I went home. Care provider remembered when it happened and expressed my concern. Where as the doctor didn't seem concerned as the care giver.

Dr. Sood and her team took great care of me during my PRK. They were reassuring at every step and explained everything they were doing, which goes a long way in helping the patient feel comfortable. They even let me choose the music for my procedure. When one of my prescriptions was not filled by the pharmacy before the procedure, Dr. Sood went out of her way to call the pharmacy downstairs to be sure they had one for me to pick up right after, and checked on the price for me.

Dr. Sood provided additional information regarding over the counter drugs that will help with my eyes if I experienced any discomfort. She also explained the types of discomfort I may or may not have. She was very thorough and engaging. I appreciated that.

Dr Sood went beyond what a Dr does when I had a concern before the surgery she personally called me at home to discuss! Very impressed!

I was greeted by the doctor who first told me she wasn't taking on new patients. She was disappointing to say the least. Warmed up some but by then it was too late. No apologies for the wait. And on a personal note. Horrible breath. I won't return.

She was very busy her assistant did most of the screening but she did say I did not have diabetic retinal issue during this session of the visit

I have never waited so long to see the doctor. I did not appreciate having my appointments changed so quickly. It is hard enough to get an appointment. My schedule is crazy with elementary school hours. I can't just change without having someone hold my classes and authorization.

As much as I like all the providers, I couldn't recommend Emory Eye Cenrtrr until the scheduling issues and appointments are better. Last year at Clifton Rd it was so bad, there were no chairs left in waiting room and a shouting match broke out about the long wait times. Very unprofessional.

She is by her words too busy and since I am not a problem patient, she wants to see more surgical patients and placed. Me with an optometrist. So she is super great, but felt rushed due to her running late. Please mind, she is a great physician

Dr. Sood is caring and very knowledgeable physician. It seems like her caseload is too large, though. Looking at the board of physicians and patients, her list seemed to be double that of the other physicians.

Yes I would recommend provider. Would suggest not taking afternoon appointments. Clinic was very busy. Emory should provide water and coffee in waiting areas, especially when the delay/wait times are greater than an hour
