Preethy Mathew, NP

Preethy Mathew, MSN, NP-C is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who works with Structural Heart team at Emory Heart and Vascular Center, Emory University Hospital. She has earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Kerala, India, Certification in Cardiology and Thoracic Surgery Nursing from Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Kerala, India, and Master of Science in Nursing degree from Mercer University, Georgia, U.S.A. She has more than twenty-two years of experience with Cardiology Nursing. She is a Ph. D in Nursing candidate at Mercer University, Georgia, with a research interest in intricacies of healing in chronic diseases with a focus on patients with chronic heart failure. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Georgia Indian Nurses Association.
