We are new to Emory and trying to navigate our way through the process. Doctor came abruptly, sat down asked why we were here, and scribbled notes that weren't legible..Made us feel like we were taking him from what he wanted to be doing.

Dr Kirshbauum listened to my concerns of a possible UTI while seeing him regarding cardiology f/Iu. MyPCP office who are located in same bldg. Was unable to see me until 6 hrs later and would not order aUA lab test until I came in to their office. Dr K. Heard my situation and ordered the UA right after seeing me that morning.He called me personally to let me know that my UA was abnormal and that culture would be ready in a couple of days. He advised me to get an appt with PCP. I was able to get video call appt that same day and PA called on a Rx to pharmacy .

Dr. Kirschbaum was excellent and I am very glad to have seen him. He was a straight shooter, asking me questions that focused me on the problem at hand and then gave me plenty of time to ask questions or comment on whatever we discussed. He was great about Informing me about what was coverable insurance-wise giving me an opportunity to decide whether or not I wanted the out of pocket tests (which I did). I really appreciated that "no surprises" approach which doesn't always happen with many doctors. He's been extrememely responsive to MyChart messages and I feel extremely confident in his care.

Don't think Dr. Kirschbaum was aware why I was there. Took my blood pressure, very little conversation about my health concern. He asked me to bring a blood pressure diary and my blood pressure device. He looked at the diary and indicated I did not have a high blood pressure problem. He never asked to see my blood pressure device. Told me to schedule an appointment In a year.

Dr Kirschbaum is an excellent Dr. He always listens to what I have to say, shows genuine interest in me as a patient, but also a person. Respects my input and opinion about my care. Provides thorough education about my health and the medications I take. The best!

Too quick. Lacks empathy, compassion and concern for the patient. Quick to refer to PCP. Never seen a cardiologist that doesn't list to heart sounds, do a EKG or other cardiovascular test. He must be brilliant to have the ability to eyeball the patient and listen to his symptoms and determine the problem is not cardiac. Amazing

I have always found Dr Kirschbaum to be patient and caring, and taking the time needed to explain things to me.

Dr. Kirschbaum is one of the best doctors that I have seen in the last 30 years, really THE best. I had a question and sent a request through the portal. I got a response within minutes. The same day I found that I needed a prescription sent to my mail order pharmacy. It was sent within minutes. The office staff was great. I am impressed with Dr. Kirschbaum and his staff.
