Paola Dorato-Iqbal, MD

Dr. Iqbal is a native of Italy and received her medical degree from the University of Rome Medical School. After completing her Anesthesia Residency at Johns Hopkins, she worked in private practice for several years as a general anesthesiologist. In 2007, she came to Emory as a Fellow in Pediatric Anesthesia at Egleston, and afterward she joined a private practice anesthesiology group in Atlanta. In 2013, she returned to the Department of Anesthesiology at Emory School of Medicine as a faculty member in the Ambulatory Division.

To provide the highest quality of care, interpreter services may be utilized to ensure proper communication of medical information for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-English speaking patients or family members.
