My experience was very good. Dr. Goltzer and his entire team were fantastic. Everyone was professional, helpful, and easy to talk to. They explained things clearly, answered my questions, and made me feel very confident moving forward with my care.

I have an ("Awesome") Emory Orthopedic Physician-("Dr. Oren Goltzer") Words cannot express how much he personally means to me!! I am a ("VA Disabled Veteran") !! I first starting seeing Dr Goltzer,when he was over at the ATL VA in the Ortho Dept!! I am a bit of distance away from the Main Hospital in Decatur!! So I was approved for care thru the VA Comm Care folks!! I still get to see Dr. Goltzer at the Emory Phys Grp in the Johns Creek area!! So I am so truly blessed & grateful to still get to be under his personal care!! I've had Both Hips Replcd, and also my Left Knee Replcd !! Dr.Goltzer has saved my life several times, and almost died from Severe Infection!! So having Dr. Goltzer and also his great staff taking care of me, I feel ("So Truly Blessed & Grateful")!!

Dr Oren Goltzer is very kind, organized, and professional. I had a list of questions and he answered each one fully. He gave me the names of the people on his team. That way, I would know who to call to make an appointment with or to talk to if I had any additional questions.

He did not review my chart beforehand and was completely unprepared. He recommended things that my other doctor had already done. For example, he recommended a cortisone shot when I've already had 2 PRPS and a tenex procedure

Dr Goltzer was very thorough in a short period of time. He answered all my questions in a very supportive and professional manner.

Dr. Goltzer was very informative and explained all treatments available. I received two injections in my hips and he was correct. I felt relief by the time I got to my car.

I interviewed three potential surgeons for knee replacement and Dr. Goltzer rose to the top even though the others were highly competent. Dr. Goltzer examined me when the other non-Emory physicians did not. The others only reviewed the images to discuss my case and surgery.

As Dr Goltzer spoke with my husband and me about the results of my X-rays and what our plan could be, it was quite evident he was extremely knowledgeable about my past surgical history and took the time to address all our questions and concerns. It is evident he cares about his patients. He explained his thought processes thoroughly and engaged both of us in the planning of what we were going to do. He listened, validated, and provided feedback. He was compassionate, informative, and forward thinking. Emory Medical Group is very fortunate to have Dr Goltzer on their team. He is excellent.

I am absolutely going to continue with Dr Goeltzer. I found him to be extremely clear, kind and a very good listener. I had a knee surgery with a different surgeon (a non-Emory doctor) about 10 weeks ago (when I saw him it was 10 weeks). The surgeon went fine --- but I want to move my post-surgery care to Dr Goeltzer. I will also use Dr Goeltzer for my 2nd surgery on my other knee.

The doctor was very clear, concise and fairly compassionate. After he left the room, I got very upset about the prospect of being in extreme pain for another 2 months, the soonest they could schedule surgery. The scheduler was not very compassionate at all. I was visibly upset, and she just seemed irritated with me.
