Dr. Suh did a great job with my surgery and recovery.

I trust my doctor with my care, she has listened to me and concerns. I appreciate that she's not forcing me to fit in a box or hurry in recovery. She understands my body is different with a list of difficulties some known many unknown. She is willing to help figure out what will best help me recover and doesn't make me feel bad for things that's out of my control (certain genetic things). I would recommend her to anyone who needs her kind of help.

Provider is always in a huge hurry. I think of questions after she has left the room. Older patients need more time face to face. When a provider is in a hurry it makes you feel not as important as the other patients. I think being in a hurry has become a habit for many providers so they are not aware when they need to slow down

This is a follow up for the right arm of what was already done to the left arm, so not as much information was needed this time. So the visit was quite quick, but I did have all questions discussed;

Dr Suh has been very caring and even though the condition of my hand is not good she has given me good medical care . She did not provide original care for my injury but has helped greatly in dealing with a loss of use of my hand from improper treatment by another physician.

Dr Suh would do better to acknowledge or validate the patient's pain and give encouragement as to the prognosis. She is always in a hurry. She rejects what I say as not important.

Haven't received enough care to know how much I'd recommend yet. Seem knowledgeable and confident.

My provider seemed to be in a hurry from the moment she walked in the room. She barely examined me for my problem and did not offer a plan of action. I was very disappointed and will reschedule with another doctor. It's the first negative experience I have had at all my years with Emory.

I hoped I would receive an injection in one hand but this was not done because I need help with the other hand and must see another doctor next week for testing. Then I will see Dr. Suh a week later and hopefully I can get injections. She is an excellent physician.

Dr. Suh was pleased that the cortisone shots helped my trigger thumb and arthritis in my right hand. She indicated future treatment could be another shot in the soft tissue for trigger thumb or another shot to the bony section for the arthritis. The shots were very painful, however; and I hope not to have to go thru them again unless they can be made less painful. I wonder if just going straight to trigger thumb surgery would be a more humane option. The surgery I had for this on my left hand was very successful over 10 years ago. And as a pain block was administered via my underarm to numb the entire area, general anesthesia was not required. This Is probably a better option at my age.

So MUCH excellent interaction with Dr. Suh! Good questions and explanations and encouragement. I'm so glad I found her after my injury four months ago.

Both Dr. Sub and her assistant actually listened to the goals I wanted to achieve with treatment of my osteoarthritis and developed a plan path to get me there with contingencies along the way if it is determined the plan is not doing the job. I really appreciate that. Felt as if this was individualized treatment...not just a maximize profit treatment plan. I thought we were going to have to wait for AI to get there. Was pleasantly surprised to see that MSK is already there with their "humans"....

Dr Suh in my opinion is one of your best doctors at Emory. She was very friendly, nice, courteous, professional and caring. She listened and answered my questions. She also sanitized her hands. I like Dr. Suh. She is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Would recommend her to others.

I spent approximately 45 minutes arriving early and waiting to stay in exam room less than 5 minutes talking to the doctor. In waiting room the desk had the tv loud and I couldn't hear nothing but some home improvement show on. They should have used ear plugs. The doctor just said buy finger splint. I think it is good advice since my pain is a level 1. I am glad that she told me if pain get worse come back.
