Dr Neela Natarajan was very understanding of my feelings and answered all my questions with compassion. I appreciated her handshakes, eye-contact, and examination while I sat in my chair and not on the table in a gown as usually is done! I am so sorry she is leaving the practice! I hope to be assigned another female physician with the same professional characteristics as those of Dr. Natarajan

I was expecting the results of my mammogram & the provider didn't have them. I had difficulty getting the right order for the mammogram.

I have met with Dr. Nataranjan twice in the past two years. Each time she demonstrates professionalism and compassion. Her explanations are thorough and comprehensive. She makes sure I understand what she tells me and is honest and clear in our discussions. I feel valued and respected and I highly recommend her.

On previous visits, I felt like just another patient. During this visit I saw the human side of Dr. Ntarajan. She took showed her concern about my developing an ulcer after chemo. Then she explained why that happened and would make adjustments for my next infusion. She patiently explained my current course of treatment going forward. She also discussed why other options would not be available or beneficial for my case. Although I'm not thrilled about my situation, I am content to understand where I stand. I thank God for medical professionals like Dr. Natarajan and for Emory Winship.

Dr. Natarajan has been taking terrific care of my problem. She has truly helped me cope with it and even after my surgery she is checking ways in which I could prevent my cancer from coming back and doing more harm to me. She is TERRIFIC.

Dr. Neela had been there for me since the beginning of surgery and I hope she will be there for many years to come. She is willing to work things to my interest since I am hours away from Emory St. Joseph's.

LOVED LIVED Dr. Natarajan!! Such a calm demeanor, reassuring nature, very effective active listening, clearly a hematology expert with ability to break down issues into explainable/lay understandable factors. Appeared to truly care & I felt I wasn't just another number! I ended up telling her more than I ever have with another medical professional as she made me so comfortable! Have never had such a wondrous "bedside manner" ever before!!
