Dr. Katz provided many options for medication to help with my issue. She clearly explained the pros and cons of each and made her recommendations. I appreciated her detail and honesty.

Dr Katz was great as always. She always pulls up diagrams and photos so you can really see what's going on with you and I love that. Pelvic exams are always painful for me but she's the gentlest GYN I've had and that's huge when it comes to people who are afraid of the speculum. She explains everything she does which was especially helpful when she was explaining both of the surgeries I had done by her.

Dr. Katz is remarkable with very good bedside manners. She explains everything to the 'T' and made sure to ask several times if I were okay. She gave my husband and I time to ask all the questions we had. She is a gem .

Dr. Katz is very informative and nurturing. At a moment I was very vulnerable and she assured me everything would be okay. I really enjoy her!

Dr Katz, once you finally get her undivided attention, is very good at listening to you and making sure all of your questions are answered. We discussed some alternate treatments and ultimately landed on continuing our original plan.

I initially asked Dr Katz for a hysterectomy and was shocked that she told me no. However, after some back and forth, she agreed to do it. I chickened out and decided to go with the original plan of salpingectomy and endometriosis excision. I asked Dr Katz quite a few questions and she answered them in detail. She explained the entire procedure and even what would happen if it wasn't endometriosis once she got in there. I told her I did not want students actively involved in my care, and she wrote that down in her notes. On the day of surgery, I reiterated that to everyone who would listen and the resident told me Dr Katz already told her which was reassuring to me. Dr Katz made me feel like I was in charge of my care. I have had very bad experiences with obgyns and was very fearful going in. I think Dr Katz could tell and she asked me if I just wanted to do the pap smear while I was under anesthesia.

Dr. Katz was great! I had previously went somewhere else for my first appt and didn't have a good experience. Dr. Katz explained things and was very thorough!

Great experience. This was my first visit w Dr Katz. Was feeling a little nervous about my switch since I was a patient of Dr Wren's for many years. Dr Katz was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. She listened to my concerns and offered valuable feedback. It was a very good visit.

The different steps that were going to be taken to fix my problem were explained to me with pictures of instruments that would be used. I had a negative experience with a different hospital group (not emory) where the only solution offered was surgical which would be very expensive and have the risks involved with general anesthesia. Dr. Katz talked me through three steps we could do to fix my problem that were much better alternatives to surgery. I felt that my wellness, safety, and finances were all taken into consideration and respected when recommending treatment options.

The wait time in between appointments is four months. I can't recommend that someone endure that. Their problem may become worse in that time.

I recommend 100% to the provider who attended me, I felt cared for, comfortable and confident.

Dr. Katz is great. She provided non-judgemental care and was great at providing information and answering questions. I have already recommended her to my young daughter for Gyn care.
