A board-certified interventional radiologist, Michael T. Kassin, MD, collaborates with oncology colleagues at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University to treat patients with cancer and improve their lives. He believes interventional radiology techniques offer potential for new ways to improve outcomes in cancer care. He also is interested in how electronic regulatory management tools can improve the efficiency of multi-site clinical trials.

Dr. Kassin is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. Before joining Emory, he was a staff clinician at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center and conducted research in the Center for Interventional Oncology in Bethesda, Maryland.

He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where he completed his radiology residency and served as chief resident in his final year. He trained in interventional radiology at Georgetown University.
