Dr. Baron's literal hands on examination of my lower back, legs, and feet was different from what I have grown accustomed to from MDs. His ability to lay hands on my back, detect and correct a problem with the position of my sacrum on the spot were a welcomed surprise. My wife, and MD also trained in Internal Medicine, said her training didn't include adjustments of the sacrum.

Dr. Barron is-hands-down- one of the best doctors I have ever had (and I have had some really good doctors before moving to Georgia and going to Dr. Barron). He is thorough, sensitive to my feelings as we discuss the issue(s) that brought me to the clinic, and interested not only in my immediate medical issues, but, when appropriate, explores outside factors that may be pertinent to the reason I have come to consult him. I have never left after a consultation without feeling both heard and also much better than before the appointment. His wisdom, sense of humor when needed to brighten my mood, and his tremendous compassion are all factors that reassure me after each visit that I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

The PA or NA was efficient and professional. With a smile.

Dr. Barron made some good points during the visit but spends most of his time starting at the computer screen and does not look at me or acknowledge me at times. He even walks out of the door while I/m still taking. He prescribes me meds that are not on my insurance and I couldn't get the medicine I needed. Waiting on him when I call up there to the office, I have my care postpone and cant get what I need, the care I need, when I need it.

I have been a patient of Dr Baron for over 30 years. Wouldn't consider anyone else!

Since the blood work occurred at the end of my appointment, the doctor did not have current results to discuss with me. As a result, recommendations are made in a follow-up narrative and not in person. In the old days, the blood work was done a week prior to my appointment so the doctor could discuss the results with me.

My primary frustration was that I was concerned that I might have pneumonia, however the office equipped for chest x-rays. Although I was provided a script to receive an X-ray at another facility, there's not one local to where I reside.

Dr. Baron has been my primary care physician for over 30 years he knows me and he knows my body. He knows my life style, my diet, and my exercise program. He knows my medications. When I need a doctor that is not a specialists, I want to see Dr. Baron, but the Emory gatekeepers tell me it will he 6-9 months before I can get an appointment. I am disgusted and outraged. How does this help me?
