I wanted help/advice on something that could assist me in losing weight. I was given a presentation on eating habits and dieting, which I have read and knew threw research on my own. We did eventually agree on a plan before I left, which I will follow and see what results I achieve. It was a disappointing visit.

Melissa entered the room and asked, "what can I do foe you? Why are you here? She seemed very rushed. I felt for a follow up, that she asked me to make, she didnt even take a moment to read what the visit was for.

RN didn't say hello or introduce herself. Immediately started with rapid fire questions and typing into computer. Reading her follow up notes in My Chart, she did not listen to me at all, input incorrect information and added notes for a physical check that she did not do. The whole experience felt very rushed and completely impersonal.

So excited about my new Primary Care Provider

I LOVED that I could get my labs done In the office and got my lab results back on the same day or the next morning via My Chart. There were a few lab results that were off. For example, my vitamin D level is way low, my iron level was surprisingly high considering I was severely anemic last year. There are a couple of other lab results that are off that I don't understand. My visit was 9 days ago and according to My Chart, my results have not yet been reviewed by the care team. That's concerning.

I want to like this provider but I never feel listened to, I wait a extremely long time then I feel like she dismisses me. I can hear her through the walls she was extremely friendly to the people next to me but short and bothered with me

I had never met Melissa before, she came in in a rush, walked right by me and sat down and started talking, no introduction, no bed side manner, seemed In a hurry, treated me as a number and not a patient, spoke VERY fast so had to re-ask questions several times for understanding, did not care to make me feel at ease or that everything will be ok. Was very very transactional. While she was nice and answered questions, I did not feel comfortable, welcomed, heard, or any warmth from her and sometimes that is needed from a provider, especially when discussing sensitive matters or concerns. Not impressed.

It was a productive appt.
