Matt Topel was extremely impressive during my visit with him. He was the first doctor I think I've ever had who started by saying he read my chart - before he walked in! Amazing. And he had. He asked great questions and gave thoughtful and respectful answers to my questions. He spent an incredible amount of time with me and repeatedly turned the screen to show me what he was doing and what he was seeing in test results. We crafted a plan going forward. If all physicians were clones of Dr. Topel, the world would be in good hands.

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Topel. He listens (and explains) well and recites back to me what he heard. He is proactive which is appreciated.

This was my first visit with this doctor, I'm happy that it was a world difference since my last visit with a cardiologist. Nearly everything on this page of the questionnaire affirms that I made the right choice.

Explained everything in detail. Making it easy to understand why changes need to be made.

Showed me an example of a heart opened it up and explained the word for my issues was the upper chamber of the heart, not the pump, which gave me a visual of what my heart was doing.

Dr.Topel explained very well his decision to do a heart monitoring procedure short term.

When visiting a specialist, one who does not know what to look for or expect concerning care provided, in most cases will be a fair to good rating. Dr. Topel did look, feel, and listen to my pulse, heart and concerns and scheduled a stress test. But, I still left with the feeling something else could have possibly be done. Medication was suggested and Is important but a more in depth look at the heart could have possible be ordered to reassure not has changed and to ease the my mind ( the patient) from what I feel as I tried to describe my discomfort.

This visit was a day after procedure for Afib. There was immediate success on procedure but only latest one day so I contacted Dr's office thru portal and got a response within 18 hours.
