About the Provider

Dr. Carmichael was born and raised in the metro-Atlanta area. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in biological sciences in agriculture and then earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

During his training, Dr. Carmichael spent considerable time training under world class Head and Neck Surgeons at Moffitt Cancer Center, the 8th ranked national cancer center in the United States, providing him with unique specialization in head and neck cancer. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. 

Dr. Carmichael provides comprehensive otolaryngologic care with special interests in head and neck tumors, sleep apnea including INSPIRE therapy, ear disease, sinus and allergy issues, pediatric otolaryngology and voice disorders.
