A board certified radiologist, Maria Piraner, MD, specializes in breast imaging, women's imaging and sonography. Dr. Piraner serves as the director of the Center for Breast Care at Emory Johns Creek Hospital in which she played a vital role in designing. Her clinical interests include sonography, women's imaging and quality control/improvement.
Dr. Piraner enjoys teaching. She completed the Young Faculty Development Course sponsored by the School of Medicine. Dr. Piraner serves on multiple committees including Ultrasound Quality, Practice Quality Improvement, and Professional Practice Evaluation.
