I was so wowed by Dr. Williams from his wealth of knowledge to his bedside demeanor. He was able to convey the seriousness of my condition while diminishing my level of anxiety. I came in to get a clearance for hernia surgery. Had an EKG done scheduled an echo one day before my hernia surgery that had to be read and provider would not allow me time to ask him when I should stop taking Plavix and Eliquis prior to my hernia surgery. I told him I had another question when he was leaving the room after about 7 to 8 minutes, but he never came back in so I just stopped taking my Plavix and Eliquis that day. To avoid excessive bleeding during my hernia repair.My surgeon gave me excellent advice on when to stop taking other meds on the day of my surgery.

I'm always pleased when dealing with medical professionals that don't act "superior". I've had a few times in my life where I've stopped one and asked them a question about programming, troubleshooting, and editing PLC logic.
