Madelynn Fling, NP

Madelynn (Maddy) earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Georgia and Augusta University, as well as her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Maddy spent the beginning of her healthcare career providing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. She began working at Emory in 2018 and transitioned to Vascular Surgery in 2024. 

She values being a member of a large, academic institution because it fosters opportunities to collaborate with multiple interdisciplinary teams and provides comprehensive care in one setting.

Maddy is passionate about utilizing her critical care skills for all of her patients on a daily basis. Maddy enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and Yorkshire Terrier, Rocky. On weekends, she loves to work in her yard and cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs.

To provide the highest quality of care, interpreter services may be utilized to ensure proper communication of medical information for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-English speaking patients or family members.
