I have been seeing Dr. Tavrovsky for several years and this is the first time I ran into these issues. I work in patient safety so I was concerned about some of the actions. For example, she did not perform hand hygiene before examining me. She also stated 'no good GI doctor will do a colonoscopy on you after a hysterectomy because of adhesions'. I know that is not accurate. She also forgot that I'm on a GLP-1 not for weight loss but fatty liver and metabolic syndrome (I am on 1.7 mg wegovy) and asked if I want to be on it for the rest of my life because of side effects because people have muscle loss and get hypoglycemia and Emory has a special program for people who want to come off it'. I was taken by surprise because of my line of work, I very well know about the abuse of GLP-1s and inappropriate use of compounded meds in the industry, but that is not what I am doing. I had to clarify and felt like I'm defending myself like a drug seeker, which I am not. I was there for AWV. No breast exam was performed either. No flu shot was offered. My biggest concern was lack of hand hygiene otherwise frankly, I probably would have stayed silent.

Dr. Tavorosky is awesome. She takes her time and fully analyses patients needs and questions and listens to your symptoms and analyzes your condition and explains symptoms and questions. An excellent physician. Thorough, willingness to solve and explain possibilities of symptoms, and make good suggestion and refer other physicians , suggestions or referrals. I worked at a large hospital and she is the type of physician everyone should seek. Willingness to make referrals for further testing to other depts and physians and follows through. She is kind, concerned and as a patient She has never ceased to give me entire attention and recommendations if needed. Truly confident and very convinced I am I great hands medically and confident she ios truly confident and my medial welfare in her grasp. I have visited many physians over my 84 years and she is in the top 3. We need more doctors to want to solve our conditions no matter how big or small they may be! Great physical and extremely knowledgeable. I feel secure in her hands. We need more like her and her caliber.

Provider was very disrespectful and ask why did I come to her. Was very dismissive the entire appointment. I reached out to her about assisting with my referrals she disregarded it and I never got my test ran.

All around; in every category: Professionalism; An Extremely knowledgeable physician, with Many years of experience under her belt;Thorough, her Dr-Patient rapport is excellent, IMHO ; Follows up on test results in the portal....; Great at explaining those test results in a fashion that the patient can understand, and at discussing an Individualized Care Plan for going forward....She is OLD SCHOOL thorough, and no-nonsense. Like the Good part about going to Catholic School with the Nuns. Not lovey-dovey; not mushy. She's all business, but still maintains good Doc-Patient interactions. One is left with the impression that, no matter the diagnosis, she cares about one's well-being. And she LISTENS.

This is probably my 3rd of 4th visit with her and she still doesn't remember me so always introduces herself as if it's the first time. This wasn't a visit about weight management but she ended up cancelled the medication for that because she deemed my weight loss sufficient without further discussion. Put in referral for pulm without any question as to whether I was that concerned or why she may be that concerned.

Excellent Experience. PCP Dr. Lyudmila Tavrovsky: She is excellent. An extremely knowledgeable and experienced physician. She really cares about her patients' welfare. She is excellent at explaining / interpreting any test results in a way that the patient understands. She then takes the time to explain what the next follow-up or Care Plan is going to be, In order to rectify any problems revealed on said results. She stresses the patients' accountability in taking some responsibility for their own health care, in conjunction with their Medical Care Team...Her rapport with her patients is excellent, judging from all of my interactions with her. She is to the point, not mushy-mushy...but clear...and still conveys that she has the patient's welfare at heart. She really IS a great Internal Medicine Doctor.

I have been very impressed by the care, knowledge, professional attitude, and have recommended her several times.

I did not feel she understood what I was sharing about the abdominal pain I was experiencing. That may be because she was not my primary care physician. To this date, I have not been counseled on the results of blood tests taken that day. The Referal physician has no openings for six plus weeks. How does that help an. Immediate health crisis? What now?. Also the nurse that withdrew blood blew the vein in my left arm leaving significant bruising up the arm. She was successful when when switching to the right arm, yet there is baseball-size bruising in that arm as well. Emory has always been exceptional in the past when drawing blood. This experience was a nightmarish exception that all-around left me wondering if Emory is cutting back on qualified staff.

I could only understand half of what the doctor was saying. She was also uncertain about my diagnosis

Dr Travrosky was yawning all the time when she was seeing me. Also, she barely examined me. I do not know how you can treat a patient's problems if you do not want to see the areas where the patient has problems with. Her accent was also so heavy that I could not understand what she said and had to always ask her to repeat. She did not provide any insights about how to treat my problems and I had to be the one who asked her to refer me to specialists of different areas. When I tried to book an appointment, she had multiple openings just two days after, which was surprising compared to my past experience with other doctors in Emory. Now I know why. I will definitely look for another provider.
