The doctors have all communicated very well.

Dr. Marts continued to be an excellent doctor In every way. He listened to my questions and concerns at the appointment. Soon before this appointment, he promptly answered a portal message I had relating to a procedure I was worried about. He allowed some flexibility with treatment options. He helped me find way to lower medication cost. I especially appreciate that he went out of his way to contact one of my doctors not in the same field to help resolve a problem that has been bothering me for more than a year. Dr. Marts was able to get at least some positive result from that doctor after my efforts to do anything about problem weren't getting anywhere.

Dr. Marts is an excellent physician who takes time to listen to the patient, to offer advice, and to answer questions. He treats the patient with amazing respect and compassion.

He was a nice professional young man. Thorough in his history taking questions. But there was no review of medical records sent over prior to visit. So given my extensive surgical history and sad list of unusual underlying conditions it was A LOT and frankly impossible to address in 15 minutes. He was kind and delicate in suggesting my 186lbs of obesity and lack of regular exercise was partly to blame for my chronic cough and glass effect in my lungs. His suggestion of water aerobics due to my severe degenerative disc disease could have been helpful had I full access to an indoor pool in rural southern GA.

Doesn't get any better than this group.

I got my usual excellent service from Dr. Marts. He patiently listened to my concerns. During his exam he detected an urgent problem and immediately arranged for me to see a specialist downstairs in another department. Thanks to his quick response, I was able to see the specialist within the hour. Dr Marts followed up to make sure I was able to see specialist.

He is a lung doctor, specializing in sarcoidosis, and he focused on me losing weight as a way to help me breathe. There are a hundred million americans who are overweight who do NOT have my problems. He needs to focus more on what makes me different or worse than those others.

Dr Marts is clearly an experienced physician. He demonstrated genuine concern and thoughtfulness with my case, and his follow up has been extraordinary!! It is extremely reassuring to feel that someone (Dr Marts) is fighting for me!!

Dr. Marts has been my pulmonologist for 5 years. Last month I got the COVID for the 1st time. Overall, the reasoned and calm care that I received from him has helped me in getting (still working on it) better. What was particularly useful for me this last visit was to discuss my status with him in person and to have a reasoned plan for how we will handle this case and possible further treatment.

Dr. Marts is always very professional and he always enter with a smile. His kind and caring demeanor makes you feel relaxed and open. He explains issues thoroughly, open to questions, and his explanations are understandable. He also gives you an opportunity to be part of your care. Not only is he skilled but he also has a phonenamal bed side manner. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr Marts is best Dr we have had at Emory over last 30 years. Great Dr, amazing support, so knowledgeable, and gives difficult honest feedback while providing hope. We are following him over to Emory St Joes and drive 2 hrs from Gainesville to see him even after we moved from Atlanta. He works so hard for his patients and deserves to be recognized for his efforts.

Dr. Marts asks about my medical status (and my overall life) and takes this into consideration in prescribing my treatment. He does not seem to follow a strict regimen of how he treats his patients but rather uses his knowledge, experience and my status to inform his decisions which he makes clear as to the why. Overtime, we have developed a very good working relationship in treating my disease and its impact on my life and for this I am very grateful to him.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Marts. I found he was extremely knowledgeable about lung scarring caused by asthma and Covid19. He is easy to speak with and easy to understand. Very professional and polite. He spent almost 30 minutes with my wife and I to go through my past and current health records. I would definitely recommend Dr. Marts to anyone needing a Pulmonologist.

Dr Marts is so smart, on top of latest options, knows how to give tough news yet always gives us hope and encouragement. He partners with me and if I want to keep fighting he helps lead the way. He is quick to return a call to me or my wife. Emory is so fortunate to have such a talented doctor that also has a great bedside manner who obviously cares about his patients.
