Dr Alvarez engaged with me on a level of professionalism, compassion and great knowledge and recall. She reviewed previous text exams and test results from previous doctors. We had an ongoing conversation about current medicine and about my future care. I have absolute respect and esteem for her professionalism, bedside manner, and her knowledge. I believe she Is a remarkable doctor and I am very honored to be one of her patients.

Just a long wait for the Dr. Alvarez after all vitals were taken - at least 20 minute wait in the treatment room. Once with her, she is professional, personable and excellent.

100% I'd recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone with a heart issue. She is always friendly, listens very well, takes her time to explain the issues, offers professional options and even calls back to follow up. For example, I needed her opinion about scuba diving on an upcoming trip to AUS. She remembered from 3 years ago my heart had an FPO issue. She took time to show me on the monitor what it was and even drew out a simple illustration on a piece of paper that I could understand and take home to explain to my concerned wife. Later that night, she called me twice with some follow up on my tests and some pros/cons for us to consider as we decide the next steps related to my trip. I was so impressed and my wife commented, I'm lucky to have a smart and caring doctor. I often hear from business associates how going to the doctor is like being treated like a "transaction" these days. Docs don't have time for you and are just pushing us through to get to the next problem. This is NEVER the case with Dr. Alvarez and her office staff. They make me feel valued, understood, and safe. I'm blessed to be in her care.
