Surprisingly great experience, and I am hoping this continues.

Doctor Hwang is excellent. She is patient. Takes her time, listens and communicates at a level that is comfortable for a patient. She dug in to my medical history and ordered thorough lab work.

The doctor was very attentive and paid attention to me and my concerns, which were serious, better than she ever has. She had been facing her treatment of my depletion of estrogen from a hysterectomy, complete hysterectomy, including my uterus from a study that had been made 20 years ago, and who is no longer thought to be accurate. She was taking me off of estrogen which I have been taking since my hysterectomy in 1983. When she learned that the study that she had based her treatment on for the last 20 years was no longer considered valid, she spent the weekend studying the correct and recommended treatments and treated me appropriately. I commend her for being able to change her diagnosis and treatment after 20 years of usage. She apologized to me, which was quite amazing. I do believe she is a very good position.

Not warmI felt uncomfortable to shareEvery time she would ask me a question she had a look of are you telling the truth on her face. One of the concerns I had was in regard to a pain in my back. I left w/no resolution. I felt like her feathers were ruffled because I refused to take the vaccine and other shots offered. My original primary care left Emory and I got stuck with a random provider. I will never do this again ! I'm on the hunt for another primary care physician !

Unlike my first visit 6 months ago, she seemed quite rushed this time. I felt the pressure to move very quickly through my questions so she could get on to her next appointment. Even though I sent my questions and topics 2 weeks in advance, she did not proactively bring them up as the visit began. I had to work through them one by one and then she finally went back and dug out the message I had sent her. She mentioned that there might not be enough time to talk about all the topics.

At Emory at Buford, they are all very friendly, respectful and they all do care about me . I'm the who's giving them a hard time!! ( joke,..Just want to make you smile)

Didn't provide information about my problem of previous visit to ER. Doctor seems to be a holistic type doctor. Holistic methods do not work for me. I did not tell her because I didn't want to disrespect her.

I had three separate issues, namely: a robotic heart bypass site from 3-weeks prior which needed Inspection, an Issue with a bacterial Infection on my lungs (both being Emory Issues) and a problem with vertigo (dizziness/nausea). All three Issues had been either Ignored or mis-diagnosed by my previous GP and why I needed a new one. This doctor seemed better able to serve my needs.

The care was good but still too much focus on entering data in the application. I still have some doubt about how much my concerns were addressed. For instance, my blood pressure was elevated but there was no conversation about this. The carbon dioxide level in my blood was high but no conversation about this.

I had the greatest experience with Dr. Hwang she is my new PCP and this was the first time I met her. I found her very alert and awake active listening, icon contact and really asked a lot of questions about how I was feeling and when this illness started that I was seeing her about. She was very knowledgeable and open to sharing things which made me feel more comfortable to sharing other aspects that could contributed to my situation. I am so grateful to her for taking my symptoms seriously and then taking the Steps to carefully figure out what was going on with me. As a result, I was feeling 1000 times better after getting the medicine she prescribed and just taking two of 10 pills. She's a passionate healer with a wonderful bedside manner and I'm blessed to have her at As my PCP. I am confident that she can help me become healthier and live a better life.

Dr Hwang was very nice, professional, and seemed to care. I had accidentally thought my appt was at 11:30, so I got there then. But when I got inside they said I had missed my appointment. They asked the doctor if she would see me anyway and she did. For that I was very thankful.
