She was a 2nd year helper that did my shots. She was excellent She went deep to reach the problem.

At my previous appointment, injections were also given in a location not done before because of migraines occurring there. The results were 100% effective and Dr. Higginbotham asked about the outcome immediately, when my appointment began. She always has an impeccable memory and agreed to giving injections in the area I asked. Dr. Higginbotham has an exceptional bedside manner and truly cares about her patients. She is the only neurologist that has lowered the number of migraines I have and decreased the severity of them. I am so very thankful for her knowledge and caring treatment. She is the absolute best!

Dr Higginbotham is a class act. This was my first appointment with her after transitioning from Dr Freeman who retired. Dr Higginbotham came prepared after reading my file notes and talking with service providers I have had.She also, within 2 hours provided me with studies I requested along with a reference to a service provider I may need in the future.Overall rating-A+

This was the first time that I had met with Dr. Higginbotham and due to the pending retirement of Dr. Freeman, Dr. Higginbotham mentioned that she would be my neurologist going forward. After spending a little over an hour with Dr. Higginbotham, I was confident that the level of care I have received from Emory would not decrease at all. Similar to Dr. Freeman, Dr. Higginbotham made me feel at ease and did a wonderful job of explaining DBS and Focused Ultrasound. She was very patient and fully answered all of my questions. At no point did I feel rushed or that her attention was anywhere else but on me and my concerns. I am looking forward to working with Dr. Higginbotham on my battle with Parkinson's.

The doctor did a great job explaining what she thought the problem might be and then explained what she thought I might want to do to see if it would help the problem I am having!
