My Care Provider is exceptional

I have been seeing this Doctor for a long time because I think he is a good doctor

Dr. Grose is the one who set up the follow-up appointment then seems to be confused as to why I am there when I see "so many different specialists". Made me feel horrible about being ill and needing different specialists. The purpose of a PCP is to help coordinate care between specialists and look out for the general well-being of the patient. This seems to perplex Dr. Grose. When asked to run routine labs that the specialist will want to see on upcoming visits to see how well treatment is going Dr Grose replied "Why don't they just order the tests themselves?". Does not seem to want to be part of an overall care team. Sorry my medical history is complex.

I don't understand the re-ordering of my meds on each visit. This only serves to impose additional cost and an unusual inventory of meds. I can order my own meds thank you.

Dr. Grose is kind but he is so laid back and truly unwilling to go the extra mile. I have a history of trauma and misdiagnosis. When I go in for routine visits he has me sit on the table and lightly touches my stomach while I am in a seated position. How can he tell if my surgical mesh has not moved or if I have a surgical hernia from that position. Right now I have something going on with my lungs. I can feel it every time I cough. Phlegm that never moves how much I cough and he basically said I don't know your lungs are clear, it must be heart.
