The doctor was very informative about what I needed to do about the ringing in my ear, but first I need to see if my insurance will cover it. The doctor was concerned about my health also.

I had several question about sound leakage and how it affected my hearing. Lara answered my questions so that I could understand the impact of leakage and why it was important to control sound leakage.

Dr. Strotheide is terrific!

I saw Lara, the audiologist, to choose which cochlear device for implanting. I had some major concerns about internal communications. Lara was able to explain the procedures you follow and why they had not received a response to the request from my insurance provider. I was thrilled to have the responses to my concerns answered thoroughly and so very relieved. She was very knowledgeable about the products and made sure I was aware there are no guarantees for the outcome of the implants as each individual is different. Thank you, Lara, for helping me make a more informed decision and also for relieving my concerns. You were such a blessing to me and I am very grateful.

Lara Strotheide is an excellent audiologist. I feel she is committed to achieving the best possible outcome. This includes not only my hearing, but also the comfort/fit of my hearing aids and the the ease/difficulty of cleaning/maintaining my hearing aids. After the visit, not only did my hearing improve, the update she made to the hearing aids has made it possible for me to properly replace parts and clean them. I can't imagine how anyone could buy over the counter hearing aids. I feel Lara is the key to my being able to hear.

The process just takes too long, but that seems to be the way of Emory. You provide excellent care but do not have enough care providers, I guess. I called in January to get a mammogram in 2023 and they couldn't see me until October!!! I called Piedmont and was seen within two weeks. Huge disparity between ease of appointment times even for a mammogram
