About the Provider
Kristi Anderson, MD, MPH, FACOG, NCMP is an obstetrician/gynecologist and preventive medicine physician originally from Washington DC. Since 2020, she has been involved in patient care at Emory University as an adjunct assistant professor in the department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She has served in the United States Public Health Service since 2005 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and her preventive medicine residency at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since completing her medical training, Dr. Anderson has worked in various clinical and public health settings including the Indian Health Service and the Health Resources and Services Administration where her work focused on improving access to preventive care for women, including women in underserved communities.
Dr. Anderson is passionate about using evidence-based, therapeutic lifestyle interventions - including diet, exercise, stress management, and sleep - to prevent, manage, and reverse chronic conditions across a women's lifespan. She also has a special interest in diagnosing and treating sexual dysfunction. Dr. Anderson is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physician, a member of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health, and a certified menopause provider.
