I LOVE seeing Komal Sheth. She is EXTREMELY Knowledgeable and explains things VERY well. She is VERY personable. She asks open ended questions to get more information from you. She is also a GREAT listener. She helps you recognize things to may contribute to your seizure activity, based on your trends and what was going on in your life when your seizure occurred, like not getting enough sleep, unusual amount of stress, or being sick. She is the BEST.

The nurse practitioner focused on my history of epilepsy, which does not explain my current event. I had to continuously refocus her. I'm not sure if she had the in-depth knowledge to respond to my non-epilepsy questions. Furthermore, the summary of my visit did not reflect our discussion. She did not talk about any of the epilepsy related issues that seem to be boiler plate that were included in the summary. I was especially amused by the note that she had talked to me about pregnancy, given that I am 70 years old.

Very dismissive of my issues, stated they couldn't be from my rx without knowing 100% truth, I stated I've often had issues with side effects, dismissive and rude about my disclosure. When messaging later about continuing to have problems tried to pass me off to my pcp. Said I needed a sooner appt to change meds like I requested but didn't assist me in getting a sooner appt.

Unfortunately my time with my provider was cut short because I experienced an epileptic seizure and was taken by ambulance to the ER. However, the entire staff was amazing in caring for me during my time of need and collectively did an outstanding job to ensure my safety & wellbeing.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/10/2024
I felt this appointment from the providers point of view was not about any assessment of me or my concerns but her sole purpose was to tell me why my primary care physician should be handling my care not my neurologist. The delivery of this information was not appropriate for what should have been an appointment to examine me and my concerns. She was not able to answer any of the questions I had. She said she would present my questions to Dr.Rodriguez Ruiz and get back to me. I have not received any answers to my questions from her.
