I didn't feel like the Dr listened to my needs and was very rude, trying to talk while I was talking. I left out of there very upset to the point I was shaking. I hope he is not as disruptive with his other patients and listens to their concerns better than he did mine. The Dr emailed me later to apologize.

Best doctor appointment I have had in years. Dr Horlander was everything a doctor should be.

I have been feeling bad for a long time and my primary doctor referred me to the specialist of the lungs and nose, ear and throat but after the studies even when there are abnormal values it seems to me that there is no correct follow-up and the most important thing is that I still feel pain in my chest. The Dr. tells me to see it with my cardiology but I feel that my problem is respiratory and I only see that my economic debt grows but my health condition does not improve. I'm considering going to another clinic.

Dr. Horlander had spoken with the department chair at Emory about a possible surgery in my future. He went above and beyond to find out specific details and the name of the person who specialized in this surgery.

Dr. Horlander is an exemplary physician. I was delighted to see a resident learning from him. He is highly intelligent, thorough, kind, and courteously honest with patients. His visit notes are detailed and very helpful. He has studied the patient record before the visit. So thankful for him and hope he will train other physicians to be like him.

I don't like that after the visit I was sent to have blood work , the results came the next day early and two values are high and there is a comment about a potential health issue. I have been trying since then to call to the Dr or someone who can give me feedback about the results. I left a message at the call center and they said they would call me back in 2 hour and that never happened.

My pulmonologist retired and I made an appointment with Dr. Horlander, but thus far had only seen his NP. After my wellness, my primary thought it urgent that Dr. Horlander see me. I am so glad my primary care physician intervened and I was able to see Dr. Horlander. He certainly lives up to his reputation, and despite my "complicated case" of COPD and sleep apnea overlap, and my dread of another sleep lab, I felt so relieved to have such excellent pulmonary care.
